Coremo makes applications for extreme environments where the product is mechanically and thermally stressed and exposed to a highly corrosive environment.

The selection of the emergency braking system for a new Pipe Tensioner plant of a major multinational group in the oil and gas industry resulted in 24 negative air brakes type G3.5N with SP61 marinized surface finish and components rated for offshore environments.

To integrate with the construction design of the machine and match the technical requirements, the brakes were assembled with a right or left piston and a number of internal springs calibrated according to the braking characteristics.

Inductive ON-OFF sensors and the final custom RAL color completed the product.

The delivery was accompanied by product certification according to ABS standards.
