Direct Hydraulic Brakes

Coremo direct (or direct thruster) hydraulic brakes function by applying the thrust of the pack of springs (spring applied brakes) or the hydraulic pressure(oil applied brakes) directly to the pad in an axial direction, with no intervening lever mechanisms. Spring applied brakes are equipped with cup springs  with treated surfaces. Direct application of the thrust offers benefits such as shorter brake actuation time and high-precision transfer of the braking force. Moreover, very high thrust forces are provided in small physical spaces, making this design ideal for heavy-duty, high-load applications. Direct hydraulic brakes are generally used in industries such as oil, mining and shipbuilding and in heavy machinery applications, where operating conditions demand high performance and reliability.
