Products
Coremo air tube design brakes and clutches are ideal solutions for transmitting high torques at low speeds. The air supplied to the inner tube moves and compresses the friction discs and steel discs, which travel internally on the housing and the toothed hub. The contact generates immediate, high torques proportional to the thrust received from the air tube and thus to the air pressure supplied. The hole in the hub is supplied unfinished or machined to the customer's specifications. Supply hoses, roto couplings and quick exhaust valves are optional accessories, available to facilitate mounting in the machine and optimise the product's performance. This category includes: low inertia brakes and clutches(BI series), ventilated clutches(VS series) and spring-actuated brakes(M series).
Nominal dynamic torque from 100[Nm] to 49500[Nm]
Nominal dynamic torque
from 210[Nm] to 49500[Nm]
Coremo BI series air tube design brakes and clutches are designed to transmit high torques proportional to the pressure supplied to the air tube. With extremely solid, effective design, Coremo BI series brakes are ideal for heavy-duty, low-speed industrial applications.
Nominal dynamic torque
from 360[Nm] to 48000[Nm]
Coremo VS series air tube design ventilated clutches, suitable for industrial applications which require high heat dispersal and reliable transmission of high torques. Easy to install and with option of hub hole machined to the customer's design.
Clutches
Nominal dynamic torque
from 1400[Nm] to 27150[Nm]
Coremo M series spring-actuated brakes with air tube release are designed for demanding applications where torque has to be transmitted and guaranteed in the absence of any form of external power supply. The air pressure supplied to the tube is used to disengage the product. With multidisc design and available in a wide variety of combinations, they are able to cover all industrial applications requiring high torques in emergency contexts. The hole in the hub is supplied in standard version or machined to application specifications.
