Water-cooled multidisc brakes and clutches are ideal for transmitting high torques with high heat dispersal, typically in particularly heavy-duty, high-speed applications such as pay-off and take-up stands, cutters and roll mills. The multidisc system is pneumatically actuated with an internal air tube. The end plates may be in steel (W) or copper (R) depending on the heat for dispersal. The product is designed to function in indoor industrial environments. The internal toothed hub is supplied with the hole unfinished or customised to the customer's design. Supply hoses and pneumatic quick exhaust valve are available on request.
