The MPB's brake levers are entirely made of Ergal, a high-strength aluminum alloy comparable to lightweight steels, widely used in aerospace applications. They are CNC-machined from solid Ergal and heat-treated. Assempbled with a mountig bracket and piston, also made of aluminum, the new MPB caliper industrial brake ensures high mechanical resistance, light weight and durability, even in demanding industrial environments. Its compact dimensions and reduced weight make it easy to handle and integrate into systems where space is a critical factor.
Technical features and operational versatility
The brake is designed for 12.7 mm discs thickness with a minimum diameter of 150 mm.
The given torque is proportional to the air pressure, with fine adjustment, whether the brake is applied to cast or steel discs.
The brake is available with two pneumatic actuator options, 05 or 1, both air applied-spring released, with a maximum operating pressure of up to 6 bar.
The lever opening system ensures the absence of any residual torque when the brake is not powered.
The fixing bracket features three 9 mm holes diameter for M8 screws, ensuring solid and safe machine installation.
