Pneumatic calipers and modular solutions are a type of compact industrial brake that is easy to install and can be combined with one another to achieve modular braking torque, depending on the number of units installed on each brake disc.
These brakes are designed with a mounting bracket capable of accommodating one or more braking units. Made of aluminum, they are lightweight yet highly efficient. Their ability to operate at low pressures and their proportional response make them particularly well-suited for continuous braking applications, such as tensioning cables and materials wound on spools and reels.
Also available in a negative-action version with pneumatic opening and spring-return closing, these brakes can perform emergency braking very effectively thanks to specially tested friction materials.
In addition to the standard TB and TK versions, this line of pneumatic brakes also includes the S-MAC and SB floating brake solutions.
The S-MAC version, supplied complete with a floating mounting bracket, is capable of self-centering in the event of any disc misalignment. Internally, the friction pad is actuated by a synthetic rubber diaphragm capable of operating even at very low pressures (0.2 bar), ensuring high reliability, linearity, and braking precision.
The SB version, equipped with a floating-type caliper, also ensures proper disc centering even in the event of misalignment. The SB floating brake is available in both a positive version with spring-loaded opening and a negative version with spring-loaded closing and pneumatic opening. The negative version also comes standard with a cable for the brake pad wear indicator. Pad movement is ensured by an internal piston equipped with a seal.

The TB2-V pneumatic brake is an “on-off” braking solution designed to work with unwinding carts that need to be released from the brake once the process is complete. This solution consists of two Coremo positive clamps (model TB) integrated with a brake body, a 302 mm diameter ventilated disc, a pressure gauge, and—centered on the disc—a quick-release coupling for a grooved profile. Using two convenient handles, the brake can be operated and engaged or disengaged from the slotted profile on the trolley. An anti-rotation slot ensures torque transmission, while a pressure regulator—also integrated into the brake body—allows the operator to adjust the pressure to the clamps, thereby controlling the torque applied to the unwinder.

The “MICRO” caliper is an economical and practical braking system designed to provide very low torque and easy installation on the vehicle. The product comes complete with a mounting bracket, a steel disc 103 mm in diameter and 4.5 mm thick, and a square-section hub. The disc is floating on the hub to ensure proper alignment with the caliper. Heat dissipation capacity is limited; therefore, the brake is particularly suitable for low-speed applications. Two versions are available: the standard MICRO and the compact MICRO-R version.
