One ID1500N model hydraulic safety brake (spring-applied) for emergency braking and parking of the rotor + one BN-GR model compact hydraulic power pack.

Coremo hydraulic brakes for horizontal-axis wind turbines are ideal for emergency braking of the rotor or as parking brakes.  Hydraulic safety brakes are installed on the rotor's output shaft and provide high braking capacities and rapid engagement speeds. Braking is extremely effective and efficient, guaranteeing safe stopping of the system in case of gusts over 25 m/s or during turbine maintenance and installation. The supply package is completed by a Coremo compact hydraulic power pack to drive the spring-applied hydraulic brake.

Coremo hydraulic brakes have been installed on hundreds of wind power generating system up to 200kW, making their contribution to renewable energy production.
